My fingertips are holding onto the cracks in our foundation, and I know that I should let go, but I can't.

Max Factor Smooth Effect Foundation

What Max Factor say:
"For a luminous and vivid look that really makes an impact, a sheer and smooth complexion is a must. Smooth effect foundation gives you a smooth base and an ideal canvas for the boldest and brightest colours. designed to work seamlessly with the max colour effects collection, smooth effect foundation lets you max out your colour and make a lasting statement. "

What I say:
"I tried a tester while browsing Superdrug and fell in love instantly it was smooth and creamy and dried almost instantly to a none greasy almost matte Consistency. I tested this on the back of my wrist and although there were only four shades to choose from the second lightest was a good match.

I couldnt wait to get home and apply it to my face. When i did i was not disappointed, it went on smoothly without primer and i didn't need powder to stop it looking shiny like i do most foundations. It isn't a full coverage but the redness around my cheeks and chin were covered and it left my skin looking smooth and natural.

It comes in a squezzy tube which fits perfectly into my makeup bag and is on offer in superdrug at just £5.99!!

I am not sure about lasting power as I haven't had chance to wear this out for a long period yet but first impressions are *big thumbs up*!

Great for everyday natural looking makeup.

I know how I want you to say goodbye Find a circus ring with a flying trapeze Tell me on a sunday please

Sunday...
Sundays should involve being lazy doing nothing, eating, sleeping and doing what I love with the people I love.
Today involved a trip to B & Q to buy stuff to finish the tiling and fitting of our shower in our bathroom.
It was a disappointing day as the shower could not be finished as there is no electrical attachment to the electrics....yes it is fitted to the shower but no power attached to the cable, so frustrating!
I also baked Marshmallow hummingbird bakery cupcakes they were very yummy.
Not looking forward to getting up for work tomorrow. So here are my INS and OUTS as of Sunday!

IN
- Driving around in the sunshine blasting Rage against the Machine
- Baking Chocolate chip cookies and marshmallow cupcakes for my man
- Getting back into wearing the most amazing foundation that is bare escentuals (my shade is medium!)
- New skincare regime, spots cleared up and my skin looks brighter and clearer and I am enojying it!
- Starting to do slimming world with my mom
-Watching loads of movies including Jackie Brown, Titanic (for the first time), Toy story 3, Adulthood etc!

OUT
- Finding out that the guy who we brought this house off did not complete any job he started ie. fitted electrics for a shower but did not connect the electrics to anything....shower is fitted but NO power :(
- Still not having a shower in our house
- My puppy dog being allergic to something and having to pay £200 to find out what!
- Having only what seems like one day of sunshine this summer
- The amount of calories in the cookies and cupcakes I have been cooking for my man.

Wanna feel your skin. You a beast, oh. You know that I like that. (your skin) Come here baby, All I wanna see you in is just skin.

Skin...

For years I have been trying to establish a 'grown up' skincare routine.

By grown up I mean one where you cleanse tone and moisturize use glass jars filled with cream, have a shelf dedicated in the bathroom ready for taking of my layers of makeup.

I have tried and failed in my mission.(several times)

I love buying new skin care that promise no more spots, no more redness, no more dryness, have perfect skin like this model on our billboard...

Yeah right...

So where am I going wrong? why should I spend all my money on this face cream and to have it not perform miracles on my skin...how very dare they!

Obviously skin is more than just what you slather all over it, great skin comes from the inside.

I do not drink enough water, who finds the time to drink 2 litres of water a day, I mean yes I have time to watch 60 episodes of come dine with me and with all that guzzling of diet coke my schedule is pretty full.

Then it comes to bed time, I should remove my makeup, cleanse my skin, tone and moustrise, perhaps even putting on a separate eye cream?
But when you've been up since 5:30am and its getting on for 23:00 the last thing you want to do is all that messing about opening bottles, turning on taps, picking up a muslin cloth. So wiping a face wipe over my face is as far as I can manage.

Setting my alarm ready to be woken at 5:30am is all I have time to do before I fall asleep, after surfing the internet and watching beauty channels on your tube of course.

Morning comes and I jump out if bed... yeah this definitely happens.

Snooze buttons are the best and worst things ever invented, should I get up and eat a sensible breakfast or should I press snooze and have 5 minutes asleep? snooze or cleanse? snooze or straighten my hair?

It is snooze every time of course.

So you can see my problems here.
Yes I could make time to take care of my skin and today is THE DAY I do that, mark it in your diaries if you like!

Today I become a women, a grown up member of society that WILL look after her skin. I know in 10 years I wont want to be saying if only I hadn't pressed that snooze button so many times I wouldn't be so horribly wrinkled and putrid now.

THE AIMS

ONE - drink at least 2 litres of water per day

TWO - remove my makeup (Liz Earle cleanse and polish)

THREE - exfoliate (soap and glory no clogs allowed deep pore detox mask)

FOUR - deep moisturize (no 7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Heavenly-Hydration-Moisture-Mask-100ml_15729/)

FIVE - Zap pesky spots (freederm spot gel)

*round of applause for day one*

Do i get a gold medal now?

NO...but i get to go to sleep knowing i'll wake up and be on my way to beautiful clear skin!

You’ll have to cry me out The tears that'll fall Mean nothing at all It’s time to get over yourself

Tears..
Sometimes its good to have a big old cry, even though there is nothing particularly upsetting and you just feel like you need to...well cry.

I don't know about you but I always feel better after these random outbursts, instead of arguing with your boyfriend or shouting at some random in the street (I wouldn't, of course, just being over dramatic for the sake of this post) you can just curl up and shed some tears.
A film may set this off, a cute puppy on the TV perhaps a flower that sheds a single petal in the wind.
I am an emotional girl, but I am good at keeping it all bottled up. So the emotions build up inside of me and when my emotional boiling pot has reached its limit out come the tears, now is this just a coincident this happens at the time of the month?

Don't you love being female, hormonal breakouts, painful cramps, aches and pains, etc etc!
I can handle the physical pain no problem, could do without it, but i can handle it. Its the unexplained crying and being down for absolutely no reason. As I am always so smiley and happy all the time as soon as my period hits everyone knows, I am just not me for those 5 days. My boyfriend loves it. (sarcasm obviously)
So what can i do about it?
I find watching a sad film helps, feeling like its the end of the world and nothing will stop those tears ever again. crying till there are no tears left. And afterwards I can wash my face and get on with my day, with a smile on my face.

Why WEIGHT When now is the right time? Today could just pass you by Why wait?

My Weight Loss Journey

Everyday this week do you now what I have eaten for lunch?
Chicken Salad.....leaves, protein, healthy, yummyness!

And also what is shocking is that it filled me up...I think of salad as being boring, not filling, not food!
I just wasn't doing it right!
I am lucky as I work in an organic food shop that sells sandwiches, salads etc all with the calories written over everything I can not guess...oh that cheese and bacon sandwich must contain about 3 calories no it has 480 WOW no thanks!
Job done!
So I have been having a flavoured water and salad and taking some nuts home as a snack before tea.
Fabulous!
Now to tackle portion size at home, making those tasty things my boyfriend loves healthy...perhaps an impossible task?

We shall see....

Slap, bang you gotta fake tan bitch you look like the tango man bogebogebo do the tango bogebogebo do the tango

fake tan....
I can not get it right! I am the colour of...pale strawberry milk, I long for bronzed goddess skin.
aka Eva mendes.

Isn't that skin beautiful. Now I know I will never look like that, but a hint of bronze would be great. I said bronze, not orange right?

I feel like whenever I fake tan people can tell, my boyfriend hates fake tan and points out I look stupid, I want a fake tan that is subtle.
  golden. luxurious. healthy.
My mission to find THE fake tan that will achieve this as easily as possible!
St Moriz does a great job but I defiantly need to practice my technique, when to ex-foliate, when to moisturise etc!!
So perhaps in 10 years I will look golden tanned....only time will tell until then i'll be the one on the corner who's been tangoed.
